Serving exquisite simplicity
Respected international furniture designer Fabrice Berrux took his inspiration for the Delta from the abstract, informal art of the Spanish painter and sculptor Antoni Tàpies after seeing a hollow bronze statuette in the artist’s studio. His response was the Delta: a fabulous statuary table of inestimable simplicity and understated elegance. The rectangular top, in ceramic or solid wood, is a thing of almost austere beauty, but the distinguishing feature or the Delta is a metal frame in apparently simple form yet dividing at the corners to create empty spaces and subtle triangles of light where sharp edges would more usually prevail. The result: timeless beauty.
